Reuge Sèvres-Style Cobalt Blue Musical Lipstick Carousel with Ballerina

A spectacular vintage Reuge musical lipstick carousel crafted in an ornate Sèvres-inspired style with rich cobalt blue enamel, elaborate gold-tone detailing, and romantic pastoral scenes throughout. The architectural form is finished with decorative columns, scrolling feet, and a floral finial, giving the piece the appearance of a miniature French pavilion.

Wind the musical mechanism from the underside, then twist the top finial to open the decorative doors and reveal a dancing ballerina at the center. As the music plays, the ballerina rotates within the gold-tone interior. One of the doors incorporates a fitted lipstick holder embellished with raised musical instruments, combining the piece’s musical and vanity functions beautifully.
