Reuge Porcelain and Silver-plated Lipstick Carousel Music Box

An absolutely stunning and rare vintage Reuge lipstick carousel, made in Italy and fitted with a Swiss Reuge musical movement playing “The Emperor Waltz.” These elaborate vanity pieces are increasingly difficult to find, especially with their original labels intact.

The carousel features rich burgundy porcelain beautifully finished with hand-painted floral details. The center is surrounded by exceptionally rare and ornate silver-plated panels depicting detailed figural and pastoral scenes, giving the piece an almost miniature work-of-art quality. Silver-plated trim and decorative feet complete the lavish design.

When activated, the carousel opens to reveal its hidden lipstick holders while the music plays, making this an incredible combination of vanity accessory, music box, and decorative object.

Original Reuge “The Emperor Waltz” Swiss Musical Movement and Made in Italy labels remain intact on the underside.
