Beautiful vintage handcrafted ceramic German Shepherd, modeled standing alert on a naturalistic grassy base. A pearly lusterware glaze in soft cream, tan and brown tones catches the light, while the open mouth, pink tongue, painted black collar and dark muzzle bring this loyal pup to life. The underside carries a round black "Handcrafted Collectibles / Brazil" stamp. The scalloped, dotted oval base is finished with molded tufts of grass for a sweet, lifelike touch.
