Gold Filigree Ormolu Cased Perfume Bottle

An exceptionally pretty vintage perfume bottle cradled in an ornate gold-tone ormolu cage, with scrolling Rococo filigree, beaded detailing, and openwork acanthus wrapping all four sides. The clear pressed-glass bottle is finished with a silver-tone cap and a faceted glass stopper, a true Hollywood Regency-era statement for the vanity.

The filigree casing lifts away from the glass bottle, and the gilt high points carry a soft, time-worn patina that only adds to its old-world charm.
