Cut Crystal Compote on Ornate Gilt Brass Rococo Pedestal

Stunning vintage cut crystal compote raised on an ornate gilt brass pedestal in the Hollywood Regency taste. The shallow crystal dish is brilliantly cut with radiating pinwheels and starburst hobstars, finished with a delicate sawtooth scalloped rim that catches the light from every angle.

The warm gold-toned base is cast with rococo scrollwork and foliate C-scrolls, a romantic contrast to the icy sparkle of the crystal above. A true statement piece, equally at home holding candies and bonbons, trinkets and jewelry on a vanity, or standing alone as a jewel-like centerpiece.

Crystal dish measured 6" diameter and 4" tall
