Whimsical Solid Bronze Frog Candlestick Holders

Charming pair of vintage 20th-century bronze candlestick holders featuring whimsical anthropomorphic frogs perched among textured tree branches. Each frog is playfully posed holding an open book, giving the sculptures a wonderfully imaginative, storybook quality.

The tall, branch-form supports are topped with wide, dish-shaped candle sconces designed to hold pillar candles. Suspended below each frog is a miniature balance scale with delicate linked chains and a leaf-like tray, adding movement and intricate detail to the design.

Finished in a dark patinated bronze with subtle green tones, the frogs and branches have beautifully textured surfaces that emphasize their sculptural character. Each piece rests on a round layered pedestal base accented with an organic vine-like border.

A distinctive decorative pair that blends functional candlelight with whimsical sculptural art.
