Articulated Snake

A wonderfully unusual  articulated snake with a richly textured antique gold-tone finish. The body is constructed from numerous individually linked segments, allowing the snake to bend, coil, curve and be posed into different positions.

Beautifully detailed from head to tail, the piece features individually sculpted scales, raised texturing along the body and a wonderfully expressive snake head. The articulated construction gives it an almost lifelike movement and makes it especially fun to style draped across books, coiled on a vanity, incorporated into a curiosity cabinet, or simply displayed as a sculptural object.

A fantastic little piece for anyone drawn to serpents, curiosities, gothic decor or unusual vintage objects.

Measures approximately 13” long when extended.
