Stunning antique 19th century Sèvres-style ormolu bronze mounted porcelain casket in a romantic Louis XVI manner. Each panel is set against a rich turquoise "bleu celeste" ground and framed in elaborate pierced and cast gilt-bronze scrollwork, with white reserve cartouches hand-painted in delicate polychrome bouquets — roses, tulips, pansies and forget-me-nots blooming across every side.

The hinged lid lifts to reveal a soft cream satin-lined interior, while ornate scrolled feet raise the whole piece with graceful presence. A hand-painted blue cipher mark rests quietly on the porcelain base. A true statement of antique vanity glamour.
