Royal Vienna Hand-Painted Porcelain Potpourri Vase, Signed Riemer

A stunning Royal Vienna porcelain potpourri vase richly decorated in soft pink and burnished gold with beautifully hand-painted Classical figures inspired by Greek mythology and Renaissance art. The finely detailed scenes are signed Riemer and framed by elaborate raised gilded decoration, jeweled enamel accents, and an intricately pierced lid. The vase is elevated on elegant lion-mask feet, giving it a striking architectural presence despite its petite scale.

Royal Vienna porcelain became highly sought after during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when collectors and decorators developed a fascination with the romantic Classical themes, lavish gilding, and museum-quality artistry associated with Vienna’s celebrated porcelain tradition.
