Hungarian Zsolnay Rococo Swan & Cherub Centerpiece Bowl

Exceptional antique Hungarian Zsolnay centerpiece featuring a turquoise reticulated porcelain boat-form bowl mounted in ornate gilded spelter with elaborate Rococo styling throughout. The sculptural base is adorned with whimsical putti figures, including one guiding an elegant swan, along with dramatic scrolling details, shell-form feet, and richly textured gilt accents. An incredibly romantic and theatrical statement piece that feels straight out of a grand European parlor.

Faintly impressed “ZSOLNAY” and “1211.” Late 19th to early 20th century. Provenance from the estate collection of Dennis Trischler, Woodbridge, Virginia.
