19th Century Sterling Silver Filigree Miniature Table Perfume Holder with Cobalt Glass Bottle

A remarkable 19th century sterling silver filigree perfume holder designed in the form of an elaborate miniature table. The incredibly detailed silverwork creates the illusion of a lace-covered tablecloth, complete with scalloped edges, an architectural pedestal base, and ornate scrolling feet.

Resting at the center is a rich cobalt blue glass perfume bottle held within a coordinating filigree silver surround. The bottle is topped with an intricately worked domed silver lid attached by its original chain, adding another beautiful decorative element to this already exceptional piece.

An especially unusual example of antique silverwork, this miniature perfume stand is both sculptural and highly decorative, with extraordinary detail from every angle.
